The Salon du Crépuscule is conceived as a warm room built to frame a cool storm. Rather than echoing the artwork's blue, the environment surrounds it with warmth, so that the photograph becomes the single cool note in a space composed entirely around it—the drama of the sky thrown forward by the quiet warmth of the room that holds it. This is the logic of the blue hour given architectural form: the crépuscule, the charged moment after the light has left, held still.

The palette is drawn from the photograph and its weather, organized as a warm spine descending to one deep cool jewel. Limestone Cream (#c8bdb2) grounds the walls in warm Parisian stone—the same stone the city is cut from—a light that lifts the print forward rather than competing with it. Patina Bronze (#9c877a) carries the iron's warm catchlight into brass and woven cloth, used low and warm. Saddle Chestnut (#775239) deepens the room through walnut and leather, the weight that steadies the eye.
