All Inquiries

Every collection begins with a conversation. Whether you're drawn to a specific work, considering the perfect scale for your space, or seeking deeper insight into provenance and process, each inquiry is met with the attention it deserves. This is where your journey as a collector begins.

Every inquiry is read and answered personally by TC, usually within two working days. The House keeps hours Monday through Saturday, Mountain Time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the works remain available over time?

The works belong to the House of Montague permanent collection and are intended to remain available over time, allowing collectors to decide thoughtfully and designers to return as a project takes shape.

Each acquisition receives its own archive number and a personalized digital Certificate of Authenticity, recording its place in the studio archive.

What does the archive number represent?

Each archive number identifies an individual acquisition within the House of Montague studio archive. Recorded on the Certificate of Authenticity, it forms part of the work’s permanent provenance and preserves a verifiable record of the acquisition.

How are prints signed and certified?

Each print is presented without a signature on its surface, preserving the visual integrity of the artwork. Its provenance is documented through a Certificate of Authenticity, digitally signed by TC Montague and bearing its archive number and date of issue, marking your place in the artwork’s history. TC issues the certificate by email on the day your artwork is delivered, so it reaches you alongside the work. Keep the original PDF for digital verification; a printed copy may also be kept in your personal archive.

May I choose my own framing and matting?

Yes. Each work is supplied unframed, leaving the choice of frame and mat entirely yours, so the finished piece suits both the artwork and the room it will live in. A 1.2-inch white border allows for careful handling and gives your framer room to work.

Frames and mats pictured in our room imagery are offered as inspiration, and each print arrives ready for the framing you choose.

Do the listed dimensions include the white border?

Yes. Listed dimensions describe the complete unframed print, including its 1.2-inch white border. A 64 × 36-inch print, for example, presents artwork at 61.6 × 33.6 inches, finished with a clean white margin on all sides.

How should I plan for the finished size?

Begin with the listed print dimensions, then allow for the width of your chosen frame and any matting. Once the print arrives, your framer can confirm its measurements before the frame is made.

Can you help me choose a size or presentation?

Yes. Each artwork's product page includes a Design Study, with a Scale & Proportion guide that covers artwork width, hang height, lateral clearance, and viewing distance for every size. The accompanying scale diagram shows how each size relates to the human figure, and the full Design Study is available to download for reference as your plans take shape. If you'd like further guidance, TC is glad to help you choose with confidence.

What are production and delivery timelines?

Estimated arrival is approximately nine working days (Monday through Friday) from order confirmation. Timing may vary with artwork size, destination, customs, and carrier conditions, and tracking details are emailed once your work ships. Every order follows the same production and delivery schedule, so expedited options are not offered.

Delivery Details

How are the prints packaged and shipped?

Every print is produced and fulfilled by WhiteWall, a fine art lab known for museum-grade standards. Each piece is individually inspected, wrapped in protective layers, and rolled in a reinforced art shipping tube, the industry standard for gallery-quality works of this scale. All orders ship fully insured with tracking, arriving ready for professional framing.

Is international delivery included?

Yes. Insured delivery is complimentary to supported destinations worldwide. Import duties, VAT, and customs fees are the recipient's responsibility unless checkout states otherwise, and customs processing may affect arrival time.

Can I change or cancel my acquisition?

Please contact TC as soon as possible. Before production begins, a change or cancellation may be possible; once a work enters production, neither can be guaranteed.

May I return a work if I change my mind?

Each work is made to order for its collector, so returns and exchanges for a change of mind are not offered, except where applicable law provides otherwise. TC is glad to answer any questions about size or presentation before you acquire.

Returns & Replacements

What if my artwork arrives damaged or incorrect?

Every print is covered for transit damage, production defects, and fulfillment errors, with a new print produced and shipped at no cost to you. TC will be in touch on the day of delivery, and you can reply directly or contact TC with your order number, along with photographs of the issue and the packaging. Please keep the artwork and all packaging for review. Reports are best made within 48 hours of delivery, though this timeframe does not limit your rights under applicable law.

What if my delivery appears to be lost?

Contact TC with your order details. House of Montague will investigate with the carrier and, once transit loss is confirmed, arrange a replacement without charge.

Who can I contact after my artwork arrives?

TC remains available for any questions about your work, its care, its presentation, or its archive documentation. Every message is read and answered personally, Monday through Saturday.
